Cruft’s,
the world’s leading dog show, now bans smoking. Smoke was the cause
of many eye problems suffered by dogs in the competition. Smoke irritates the eye membrane, making the eye weep, turn red, and develop conjunctivitis. The problem is made worse when the dog paws and rubs its eye. Cat shows are also smokefree.
