Are You a Responsible Retailer

The Responsible Retailer Award Scheme involves working with local retailers to control the sale of age-restricted products to underage children. It is a community-based initiative with the aim to inform retailers about the law on age-restricted products and give recognition to those that abide by the law.

The primary aim is to reduce the sale of tobacco, alcohol and solvents to teenagers, although the scheme also encompasses the sale of videos, fireworks, lottery tickets, knives etc.
